Project 2 going on to Project 3
I'm pretty glad project two is out of my way now. Let me say it wasn't one of my favorite papers to write. For some reason I found it very hard to present my argument without repeating myself a lot. I loved doing my new medium because it came naturally and took very little time to compose. I really did feel my medium was the best one I could have used to get my story of musica across but I still found that very hard to present in a paper. I don't know if it was because my writing has not been as strong lately or that i've been more stressed out. I would have liked to feel more confident about that paper though and I really don't feel more time would have helped me get there. In the end I wasn't completely disappointed with the paper I turned in I edited and revised it a lot. So I feel confident about it now. I feel a lot more comfortable with what we will be doing for project three. I really like Kurt Vonnegut and defending one of his arguments will seem pretty interesting and easy if you take the time to research which isn't that hard. So all in all i'm glad to be finished with project two and start on project 3.

What dire circumstance be this? I am plunged into the depths of higher thinking by confounding a certain topic. One so vigorous I cannot seem to grasp the essence of the concept; the gratifying image and existence of the numbero uno topic. But what is there to discuss if one cannot visualize the subject?
ReplyDeleteI could rant and rave about the uncertain aspect of the First Project, having to see how one can understand the task and do it accordingly, within his or her limits. The Second Project sees which creative gesture can be explored-and prodded by an ensnaring rod infested with hot metal.
The Final Move has not yet been delivered, and yet, it has been given to us as some sort of reinforced job.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the level of mature reflection you have put into this assignment and your blog post. Your concerns about this project are certainly valid, but you've conveyed them to me in a very reasonable way. Excellent free response post.

ReplyDeleteWhile I appreciate your dedication to a highly stylistic writing style, you need to put substantially more thought into the content that style is intended to convey. It would be irresponsible of me, as your writing instructor, to turn a blind eye to the fact that your post takes many words to say very little. While I have no intention of squelching the personal voice you bring to the writing process, it would be a disservice to you for me to pretend that this would be an appropriate way to convey a message in any college-level class. In the future, please put more thought into the message, or lack thereof, that your writing conveys.
In addition, please post any and all free responses as separate entities. If you post them as responses to other students' posts, there is a good chance they will be misconstrued as comments, and, more to the point, there is a great chance they will completely slip my notice.
