free response brittany hughes

today was the first day of presentations. i thought overall every speech that was given was very good and extremely interesting. the most enjoyable one for me was the one given on pugs. it was light hearted and although it was a simple argument she did a really great job of being very persuasive and the speech progressed very smoothly. the speech i found the most informative was the one about weed. i had no idea that people ended up in mental hospitals and developed schizophrenia. that was kind of a scary eye opener. i have come to the conclusion that power points are a great way to remember what you are talking about and keep the audience attention so i am going to include a PowerPoint when i do my presentation. i am slightly nervous that when i get up in front of the class i am going to ramble and make zero sense, talk to fast, or forget everything and just read it. those are all problems i have had in the past with speeches. at this point i wish i had signed up for friday but i guess ill just cross my figures that everything goes smoothly.
