presentations

presentations can get a point across much easier than a paper and can keep the audience more active and listening. with a paper there is going to be alot of information the audience will read. some of this information is not going to sink in. also some points or descriptions made in the paper can be confusng or unclear to some people. the same information given in presentation form is through our own voice. you can put across emotion and tone and use strong gestures. also if the audience becomes confused about anything they arent left to wonder because they could just ask their question when the presentation is over. also in a presentation you could use visual aids that a formally written paper shouldnt have in it. this will help keep the attention of your audience and can be used to solidify points made. audiences like humor and its more difficult to add humor into a paper. presentations can have humor all over them.
