Why presentations are important
I feel presentations are important, but must be presented properly. A presentation gives the audience a more clear picture of your idea than to just read a written paper. With the help of visual aids, voice tone, and/or hand outs, a presenter has the ability to express their views and opinions of a topic from every aspect. With a written paper, it leaves the reader room to possibly misinterpret the writer's view. If there is any questions that the reader might have, they might not be able to ask the author about it right away, such as in a presentation. In order to have a proper presentation though, the presenter must speak in a clear and concise voice, not jump around with their ideas, and give the audience time to not only comprehend what they are hearing/seeing, but also time to ask questions and discuss.
