free response brittany hughes
I am so relieved to get that speech crossed off my to do list. it was pretty nerve racking standing up in front of the class and at one point i was actually shaking. the way i practiced my speech and how it came out were pretty different but i guess that's life , you cant expect everything to go as planned. i just hope that i spoke clearly enough and it was not to boaring. i appreciate how attentive the class was and how the listened to me as well as everyone else when we talked. it makes speech giving so much easier when there are no distractions so i was really happy to have such a great audience. the speeches that i heard today regarding Greek life music festivals subway and computers ( hope I'm not forgetting one) were all really well thought out and applied to college life and our age group. because everyone in the class is so well prepared and is good at public speaking it makes listening much more enjoyable. i am thrilled that Mr Sabo told us to stay away from the topics of race politics and ect. because it gives students a chance to voice their opinion on topics that are more personal and different from the typical high school persuasive paper that we have all written in high school.
